Hypnotherapy

Silhouette spreading arms Many people have inaccurate information about the practice of hypnotherapy. You may think it is some woo-woo, hippy-dippy type of therapy. Or you might have seen images in movies that led you to believe that the therapist is controlling the patient's behavior. But these images are incorrect.

The truth is, hypnotherapy is grounded in effective, ancient techniques that calm the brain and help the body and mind work together, rather than against each other. Hypnotherapy uses meditative practices such as relaxation, guided imagery, and creative, imaginative techniques to help with a variety of client problems. Hypnotherapy can be used to manage stress, create a positive self image, make a behavior change, or stop a bad habit, as well as dealing with traumatic experiences.

All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. The therapist merely acts a guide to help you work through the issues. You are in complete control of the process, and you are aware of yourself and your surroundings the entire time. I will make a recording of the session on your phone so you can use it at home to continue your progress.

I'm excited to get started on this process with you! Call me today! 678-209-1348.
