I am a Licensed Professional Counselor providing individual, couples and family therapy, and maintain my private practice, McClain Counseling and Family Therapy, in Snellville, GA and Marietta, GA. I have over 12 years experience as a counselor and direct care mental health worker. My specialty is working with families who are having trouble with communication and parenting issues, and with adolescents who are struggling with school, social relationships, a history of abuse, depression or anxiety. In addition, I also have great success working with clients undergoing challenging life events, such as school and career concerns, relationship problems,  new parenthood, college, mid life crisis, menopause, and the loss of a loved one.

On a more personal note, I enjoy gardening, cooking, hiking, reading, and writing. I sing in a Blues/Rock band.  I also like to spend time with my family and my four cats.
